via blog hopping, i stumbled upon "An Experiment in Poverty," jasmine's adorable blog about life in long beach, ca, with her boyfriend and cat during a too-long job search. it was fun, funny and features supa-cute pictures of daily life. so i scrolled through her archives and found this post featuring her boyfriend, levi's, artwork.
a few emails and a trek south later, inside a peet's coffee i fell in love the painting (and with jasmine and levi!) and snatched it up. it is hung adjacent to my front door, greeting me every time i enter and leave the house and making me feel like a proper adult with "big girl" artwork ;)
